ROYAL TREAT FOR WINNERS OF 7th ANNUAL INDIA GOLF FESTIVAL
India Golf Festival on the World Map as two winners from India Golf festival, 2012 will be invited to play in the world finals of The Duke of Edinburgh Cup, England hosted by the Royal Family.
There is something special to the seventh annual edition of India Golf Festival to be played at Qutab Golf Course from April 19-22, 2012. A significant chapter of Indian Golf history is being recorded as India has been included for the first time in the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh Cup.
The Duke of Edinburgh Cup is an annual international series of golf events.
Each event becomes the national ' The Duke of Edinburgh Cup ' for that country / region in the year in which it is held, India in this case. India Golf Festival will be run as a handicap competition comprising of a starting field of more than 500 golfers. Celebrities, Diplomats, senior government officials, senior corporates, leading men and lady amateurs will be participating in this The Duke of Edinburgh Cup – Inaugural India edition.
Two winners from the Indian Golf Festival, 2012 will be invited to take part in the World Finals of The Duke of Edinburgh Cup held in England at Windsor Castle, London. Air travel, accommodation, transportation, meals and green fee expenses of the winners are all paid for by Rishi Narain Golf Management, who own and market The India Golf Festival.
The 36 hole World Final takes place over two days on two prestigious golf courses close to London. There is also an additional friendly match with the members at the Royal Household Golf Club, the private course at Windsor Castle.
A black tie prize giving dinner is held in the State Rooms of Windsor Castle in the presence of members of the Royal Family.
